Important Dates

How to Apply

1. Prepare an application on plain paper giving Name, Permanent and correspondence Address, Name of Father and Mother, Telephone no., and e-mail address.
2. Include complete details of your educational career starting from High School or equivalent examination.
3. Attach attested copies of all mark-sheets and certificates.
4. Enclose details of any research or other relevant experience, if applicable.
5. Send a soft copy of the completed application along with attachments to the respective Principal Investigator's email address on or before the date of interview.
6. Submit a hard copy of the application along with all attested documents to the respective Principal Investigator on or before the interview date, or submit it at the time of interview at 11:00 AM on 30 October 2026.

Selection and Interview

Selection will be made on the basis of a walk-in interview. The interview details are as follows:

• Date of Interview: 30 October 2026 (Friday)
• Time: 11:00 AM
• Venue: Committee room No -1, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
• Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid if called for interview.

Important Instructions

• The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects funded by U.P. Council of Agricultural Research, Lucknow, for a duration of 03 years.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
• Applications must include attested copies of mark-sheets and educational certificates from High School onward.
• Candidates must ensure that soft copies reach the concerned Principal Investigator's email on or before the interview date.
• Hard copies of the application and supporting certificates can be submitted either prior to the interview date or at the venue at 11:00 AM on 30 October 2026.
