If they do not, their candidature will be rejected. Applicants must also meet the eligibility criteria prescribed under PMIS and the criteria for the internship they apply for. Who Is Not Eligible Under the notice, the following candidates are ineligible: - Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs and IISc. - Those having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA or equivalent, MPhil and PhD. - Those undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship or training program under Central Government or State Government schemes. - Those who have completed apprenticeship or training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at any point. - Candidates where the income of any family member exceeded Rs 12 lakh in the preceding FY, as on the date of submission of the application. Here, "Family" means Self, Parents and Spouse. - Candidates where any member of the family is a permanent/regular government employee. Each internship lasts Nine (9) Months under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS). - No travel expenses are paid for attending certificate verification or during the internship period. - CPCL will not provide boarding or lodging during the internship period. - Under PMIS, the internship is intended only for training and skill development. CPCL has no obligation to offer employment, absorption or regularisation during or after the internship. - Completing the internship does not give any right or claim to employment in CPCL.
