How to Apply

1. Go to the official website dgll.nic.in and download the notification and application form.
2. Fill up the application form strictly in capital letters on A4 size good quality paper.
3. Paste your recent passport size colour photograph (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, not more than 3 months old, not to be attested) in the designated space and sign below the photograph.
4. Attach self-attested copies of required documents as proof of date of birth, educational qualifications, and category certificate.
5. Provide your left-thumb impression and signature at the bottom of the application form.
6. Place the application and documents inside an envelope.
7. Superscribe the application with "Application for the post of Navigational Assistant Grade - III".
8. Send the application by Speed Post / Registered Post to The Director, Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships, "Deep Bhavan" Port Residential Area, Saligrampuram, Visakhapatnam-530024, Andhra Pradesh so that it reaches on or before 01/11/2026 at 1700 Hrs.

• Mark list of all semesters/years
• Category Certificate: SC/ST/OBC/EWS
• Disability Certificate - PwD
• No Objection Certificate (from present Employer)
• Experience Certificate
• Discharge Certificate for Ex-SM

Navigational Assistant Grade-III Important Instructions

• Applications must be submitted in A4 size good quality paper only.
• Non-submission of required documents at Serial No.21 of the application will lead to the rejection of the application.
• Candidates presently employed in Central/State Government, Autonomous bodies, PSUs, Public Sector Banks must apply "through proper channel" or submit "No Objection Certificate" along with the application else the application will be rejected.
• Initial posting shall be at any Lighthouse/DGSS/NAVTEX Station under Visakhapatnam Directorate and liable to be transferred anywhere in India.
• In case the closing date happens to be a public holiday, the next working day will be the last date for receiving of applications.
• Department will not be responsible for any postal delay.
