Cabinet Secretariat DFO Technical Qualification The Educational Qualification (EQ) for the Cabinet Secretariat DFO Technical post is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or a Master's degree in Science, in one of the subjects mentioned in the vacancy table. The degree must be from a recognised University or Institution. The candidate's GATE paper in the valid GATE Score Card must correspond to the subject applied for.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection is based on the GATE Score and an Interview. It is subject to the candidate fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria, character and antecedent verification, and a medical examination.
All applications received by the closing date that satisfy the eligibility criteria will be arranged in order of merit on the basis of valid GATE Score, for each subject separately.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of valid GATE Score, in a number five times the number of vacancies, and called for Interview.
Final selection is based on GATE Score and Interview.
Selected candidates are subject to character and antecedent verification and a medical examination. The medical standard will be as per the Central Government guidelines applicable to Group 'B' posts.
The notification does not give the marks or weightage for the GATE Score and the Interview.
