ICAR IARI Project Associate I – 1 Posts Recruitment 2026
Introduction
Applications have been invited by ICAR Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR IARI) for 1 vacancy for the Project Associate-I post on a contract basis. The engagement is purely contractual, non-regular, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project, with a pay of Rs. 31,000 + HRA or Rs. 25,000 + HRA per month depending on whether the candidate qualified through National Eligibility Tests. Eligible applicants holding a Masters' degree in Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology/Biochemistry can attend the walk-in interview on 16 November 2026, reporting at 9:30 AM at the Division of Food Science and Postharvest Technology, NRL Building 3rd floor, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

Candidates meeting essential qualifications will be interviewed through a walk-in interview.

ICAR IARI Project Associate I Important Instructions
- Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM will not be considered for interview.
- Only candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed.
- The posts are purely temporary, contractual, non-regular, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project.
- Selected candidates shall not claim regular appointment at the institute.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates whose near or distant relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI must declare it in advance.
- Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification.
