Vacancy & Eligibility
ICMR NIE Qualification Post Qualification Required Scientist-D (Medical) MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC. Desirable: MD/MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC OR MPH from a recognized university OR PhD from a recognized university in the subject related to Biomedical sciences. Scientist-D (Non-Medical) Masters from a recognised University, in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences OR Pharm-D degree recognised by UGC/PCI. Desirable: PhD from a recognized university in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences. Scientist-C (Medical) MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC. Desirable: MD/MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC or MPH from a recognized university or PhD from a recognized university in the subject related to Biomedical sciences. Scientist-C (Medical) (Microbiology) MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC. Desirable: MD/MS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC or MPH from a recognized university or PhD from a recognized university in the subject related to Biomedical sciences. Scientist-B (Medical) MBBS or equivalent degree recognised by MCI/NMC. Scientist-B (Non-Medical) (Disease modeling) Masters from a recognised University, in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences OR Pharm-D degree recognised by UGC/PCI. Scientist-B (Veterinary) B.V.Sc & AH degree recognized by VCI. Experience Criteria - PhD will be considered as 4 years' experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree, provided the period spent on obtaining minimum essential educational qualification shall not count towards experience). - MD/MS or equivalent to be considered as 3 years' experience (provided the period spent on obtaining minimum essential educational qualification shall not count towards experience). - MPH/M. Tech will not be considered as any experience. - Experience in Research & Development related to Biomedical Sciences, relevant to the job requirements in Govt./Public sector/Private Institutions will be admissible.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection would be made based on a computer-based test (MCQs) or interview or both. The computer-based test would be based on the understanding of research methods, will be of qualifying nature, and the minimum qualifying requirement will be 75 percentile.

- Candidates applying for a post must ensure that they fulfill eligibility conditions on the last date of submission of applications.
- Duplicate applications from any applicant will result in cancellation of all such applications.
- Relevant documents of educational qualification, specialization, and experience as claimed must be invariably uploaded.
