IOPB Tradesman – 5 Posts Recruitment 2026

Introduction

Institute of Physics Bhubaneswar (IOPB), Odisha, has invited applications for 5 posts in 4 roles under Advt No. IOP/ Recruit/ 09/ 2026. The posts include Tradesman (Electrical), Tradesman (Electrical/ Electronics), Tradesman (Mechanical/ Refrigeration & Air Conditioning), Tradesman (Mason). Applications are to be sent offline and must reach the organisation by 10 November 2026. The post is for Bhubaneswar. Qualification required: SSC/ 10th with minimum 60% marks or HSC/ 12th with Science & Mathematics, together with ITI/ Trade Certificate of at least one year duration in relevant trade. The pay is Level 2 Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC. Selection is by written examination and/ or screening. Post-wise eligibility, dates and the steps to apply are given below.

4. Send by post to The Director, Institute of Physics, P.O. Sainik School, Bhubaneswar - 751005, Odisha on or before 10/ 11/ 2026.
5. Send it on or before 10 November 2026.

Other Points to Note

• Eligibility determined as on the last date for receipt of applications.
• Experience prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the requisite qualification.
• Relevant ITI/ Trade Certificate shall be of not less than one year duration.
