How to Apply

1. Fill in the application form (proforma) attached to the notification. It asks for: the Vacancy Notice No. and post applied for; personal data (name in capital letters, father's/mother's name, category, date of birth, date of joining in Railways, date of entry in present GP, present pay band with grade pay and basic pay as on the date of application, present designation and Dept./Divn/Rly, email id and mobile number); educational qualifications; experience details; the designation and address of your Controlling Officer; your present office address; and the designation and address of the officer with whom your last 03 years' ACRs are available.
2. Paste a self-attested photo on the form, sign the declaration and attach the documents listed below.
3. Get the form forwarded by your Cadre Controlling Officer. The officer signs with designation and seal and certifies that the office has no objection if you are finally selected.
4. Send the application through proper channel to: Director General, IRICEN, 11-A South Main Road, Koregaon Park, Pune - 411001.
5. You may also send the application by mail to [email protected].
6. You may send an advance copy directly, but it will be considered only after the application is received through proper channel.
7. Applications may be forwarded within 30 days from issue of the notification dated 19 October 2026.

Documents named in the notice

• Application form in the prescribed proforma, with a self-attested photo pasted on it
• Self-attested copies of educational qualifications
• Copy of APAR dossier for the last three years (the notice says it "may be sent along with applications")
• Separate sheet for experience details, if required
• Detailed CV, if any
• Forwarding note and no-objection from the Cadre Controlling Officer, with designation and seal
