- - Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board - Nationality: Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan - Sports Qualification: Must have participated or won medal(s) in one of the recognized levels of competition (International, National, Inter-University, Khelo India Games, etc. – see marking scheme below) between 01.01.2024 and 01.11.2026 - Candidates must possess all required educational and sports certificates on the date of recruitment
- those without them are not eligible - Educational certificates from boards other than Central/State Boards must be accompanied by a Government notification declaring equivalence for Central Government service
