How to Apply
- Print the application form (REC-03: Application Format) attached to the notice on A4 size paper.
- Fill it in with block letters using a BLUE PEN. Write the post name, give your age as on the last date for applications, describe your experience in up to 500 words, and add the contact details of your previous employers.
- Affix a recent passport size photo to the form (do not staple it), then sign the declaration.
- Scan the filled form, your CV and the self-attested supporting documents into one PDF.
- Name the PDF in this format: "Candidate name_Post-name_year_application" (the notice's example is "James_DEO_2023_application").
- Email the PDF to [email protected], with the name of the post applied for in the email subject line.
- Send it so that it arrives by 5.00 pm on 5 November 2026.
To apply for two or more different posts, fill in a separate application form for each post and send each one, with its enclosures, in a separate email. Applications that are not in the prescribed format will not be processed or accepted. Applications sent with only a CV, without the prescribed form and certificates, will be rejected.

- Certificate in support of age (Tenth equivalent / High School Certificate)

- Experience certificates
- Any others (if relevant; specify)
- Proof of prior research experience, if any
- Proof of SC/ST/OBC status, where applicable
- PDFs of proof of work for previous employment, if any
Selection and Interview
JIPMER will shortlist applicants based on the details in their application, CV and documentary proof. The list of eligible candidates will also be displayed on the JIPMER website. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview. The final selection will be based on the CV, the application and the written test/interview. If the number of applications is very large, stricter criteria than those listed above may be used to decide eligibility. The decision of the Project Investigator will be final.
Written Test
The written test will cover basic knowledge of cancer, knowledge about clinical research, GCP, patient care related skills, the consenting process and drug storage.
Interview
The interview will cover the same areas as the written test, plus the ability to interact and respond to situations in clinical research and patient management. At the discretion of the Principal Investigator, the interview may be held in person or by videoconferencing. For a video interview, each candidate must arrange a suitable device (computer/laptop/mobile) with audio and camera facilities and an adequate internet connection. The date and time of the written test and interview will be notified later.
