Vacancy & Eligibility
KRCL Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer Qualification Post Qualification Required Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer IRSEE officer should have completed minimum 5 years of Railway service and above & should be presently working in JAG/SS. The officer having service experience in design, planning, construction, execution of Railway Electrification projects (RE)/ Operation & Maintenance of the power supply installations, OHE and RC equipment / maintenance & operation of electric locomotives and electric multiple unit (EMU) stocks outside the electric loco shed and/or Train operation, Crew management / Maintenance and operation of the Electric Locos based in the shed/ Electrical General Services in Indian Railway/PSUs/Metro. Candidate should have knowledge of the relevant specification i.e. Railway Board & RDSO and other relevant codes & specifications.
Experience

- Applications of officers working in Zonal Railways/PUS for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other Organizations will be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in Ministry.
- KRCL will consider applications of only those officers whose applications are forwarded by Railway Board.
- Eligible suitable applicants will be short-listed on the basis of eligibility and experience, if required, as per Vacancy Notice.
- Selection criteria will be as mentioned in Ministry of Railway, Railway Board's letter No.2017/E(O)II/41/5 dated 25.05.2017 and no.2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 07.03.2018.
- Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible as per Board's guidelines issued from time to time during deputation tenure in KRCL.
- KRCL has been permitted exemption from the rule of immediate absorption up to 31/12/2026.
- The term of deputation is 3 years, normal term of deputation, extendable up to five (05) years.
