| KVS Recruitment 2026 Job Description | The duties and responsibilities assigned to contractual teachers and instructors in the Vidyalaya include: | |||
| Regular classroom teaching activity and student notebook or assignment checking. | ||||
| Invigilation duty and examination evaluation work as scheduled by the Vidyalaya. | ||||
| Assisting students and colleagues in the preparation and organization of various curricular and co-curricular activities. | ||||
| Taking care of the functioning, daily management, monitoring, maintenance of laboratory setups (including Atal Tinkering Labs/ATL), robotics activities, and assisting in hackathons for vocational instructors. | ||||
| All other administrative or academic work assigned by the Principal. | ||||

| What Happens on the Day | The selection process on 27 October 2026 follows these stages: | |||
| Candidates must report at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Amla at 09 | 00 AM for physical attendance and initial verification of the application printout and original identity documents. | |||
| Document verification will be conducted to confirm the basic eligibility criteria for the respective post. | ||||
| If more than 10 eligible candidates report for any single post, the Vidyalaya may organize a written screening test to shortlist candidates. | ||||
| Eligible or shortlisted candidates will then appear before the interview panel. The interview process may continue until late in the evening. | ||||
| No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid for attending the test or interview. | ||||

| Working hours for contractual teachers are identical to those of regular teachers. | ||||
| In the absence of CTET-qualified candidates, non-CTET candidates may be considered if otherwise eligible under KVS recruitment rules. |
Vacancy & Eligibility
Post Qualification Required Pay TGT (Hindi) Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, B.Ed., and CTET qualified, along with competence in computer teaching and proficiency to teach through English medium (as per KVS rules) Rs. 26,250/- per month Primary Teacher (English) Senior Secondary School Certificate (+2) with at least 50% marks and JBT/D.Ed/PTC (2-year course), along with competence in computer teaching and proficiency to teach through English medium (CTET Paper-I qualified as per KVS rules) Rs. 21,250/- per month Vocational Instructor B.E. or B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university, or B.Tech. with experience in Electronics and Robotics, with proficiency to teach through English medium (as per KVS rules) Rs. 21,250/- to Rs. 25,000/- per month Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for discipline-specific eligibility rules and relaxation conditions.
