Important Instructions
- The engagement is purely on a contract basis for a period of one year, extendable by another year at a time at the discretion of the port.
- Appointment is subject to candidates being found medically fit as per Mumbai Port Authority requirements and verification of police antecedents.
- Emergency medical treatment will be provided at MbPA Hospital/dispensary in case of accident while on duty
- no other medical facilities are admissible.
- Leave entitlement consists of 12 days Casual Leave in a year and Public Holidays.
- Standard duty hours are from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. for 5 days a week, with potential requirement to work beyond normal hours as needed.
- Accommodation at MbPA quarters may be provided subject to availability, with rent deducted as per rules along with consumption-based electricity and water charges.
- The contract can be terminated by either side by giving one month notice in writing.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the post is 30 years.
