Introduction

NEC has invited applications for Research Officer – 1 Posts. There are 1 vacancies for candidates with Any Bachelors Degree. The last date to apply is 11 December 2026.

How to Apply

Cadre authorities/Head of Departments are requested to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared on deputation basis within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.

1. Download the Application Form / Curriculum Vitae Proforma (Annexure-II) from the official website https://necouncil.gov.in.
2. Fill out the application in the prescribed format – Annexure-II duly completed, signed by the candidate, countersigned and sealed by the Cadre/Appointing authority.
3. Attach attested copies of ACRs for the last 5 (five) years duly attested on each page with seal by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent.
4. Include an Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance, Major or minor penalty certificate for the last 10 years of his service, and Cadre clearance certificate.
5. Include a certificate to the effect that the particulars furnished by the candidate have been verified and found correct as per service records.
6. Attach self attested copy of certificates of educational qualifications.
7. Send the completed application to the North Eastern Council Secretariat, Nongrim Hills, Shillong – 793003.

Selection and Interview

The selection will be conducted by the Selection Committee at the time of selection for the post, assessing the Curriculum Vitae duly supported by documents submitted by the candidates.
