| The recognised sports achievement must have been obtained on or after 1 April 2024 and up to the notification date. Applicants must be active sportspersons. |

Vacancy & Eligibility
- Pay Level | Minimum Educational Qualification Level 1 | 10th Pass, ITI, equivalent qualification or National Apprenticeship Certificate granted by NCVT Level 2 and Level 3 | 12th Pass or equivalent
- for technical categories, Matriculation with completed Act Apprenticeship or ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT Level 4 and Level 5 | Graduation from a government-recognised institution Candidates awaiting the final examination or final results are not eligible. No relaxation will be provided in the minimum educational qualification. Typing Requirement Candidates appointed as Clerk-cum-Typist must acquire a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi within four years from the date of appointment. Until the typing requirement is fulfilled, the appointment will remain provisional.

Important Instructions
- Applications will be accepted only through online mode.
- No vacancy is exclusively reserved for a community such as SC, ST or OBC.
- Candidates applying for more than one sports discipline, event or pay level must submit separate applications and pay separate fees.
- The exact pay level and place of posting will be decided by Southern Railway at the time of appointment.

- Selected candidates must execute a service bond for five years.
- Selected sportspersons will be on probation for two years.
