Introduction
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat (SVNIT) has announced recruitment for 5 Professor vacancies under advertisement number Estt. /2026/ Prof/1600. - Complete the online application form and fill in the credit point summary sheet and details sheet.
- Upload a recent colour passport-size photograph (taken within 3 months, without cap, scarf, or sunglasses) along with relevant certificates.
- Pay the non-refundable processing fee of ₹1000 online, if applicable.
- Submit the online form and download the completed application form along with the credit point summary sheet.
- Number and sign all pages of the printed application form, and write the total number of pages on the first page.
- Enclose self-attested copies of all testimonials, educational certificates, experience certificates, category proof, and fee payment proof.

Important Instructions
- Applications submitted only in soft copy will be summarily rejected if the signed hard copy and supporting documents are not received by the deadline.
- Candidates wishing to apply for more than one department must submit separate applications along with separate processing fees and enclosures.
- Experience rendered on a part-time basis, as a teaching assistant, or as a visiting/guest faculty member will not be counted as valid experience.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for written test, presentation, or interview.
- Candidates invited for the selection process must appear personally for the presentation and interview, though candidates working abroad may be considered for online interaction.
