Women & Child Development Department Odisha (WCD Odisha) has released advertisement number WCD-ICDS-G-MISC-0007-2023-24546/WCD, notifying 13 vacancies for Instructress and Assistant Instructress posts on a deputation basis for its 2026 recruitment. Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process comprises scrutiny and shortlisting of applications followed by a mock lecture before the Selection Committee constituted by the Department.

How to Apply
- Download the application format provided in the official notification PDF.
- Fill out the application form with accurate details in BLOCK letters and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
- Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates and relevant experience/training certificates.
- Route the application through proper channel via the DSWO and Collector (for CDPOs) or via the CDPO and DSWO (for Supervisors).
- Ensure the forwarding authority certifies the service particulars, furnishes a No Objection Certificate (NOC), and issues a certificate confirming no disciplinary or vigilance proceeding is pending or contemplated.
- Send the completed application to reach the Additional Secretary to Government, Women & Child Development Department, Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar – 751001 within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice (on or before 25 October 2026, 05:00 PM).
- Send an advance copy of the application by email to [email protected] before the last date and time.

WCD Odisha Important Instructions
- Applicants must have a clean service record with no disciplinary, vigilance, or criminal case pending, contemplated, or of satisfactory performance.
- Tenure of deputation is 3 years per term, subject to satisfactory performance, up to a maximum of 2 terms.
- No deputation allowance is admissible.
- On completion of tenure, the officer shall revert to her parent district cadre.
- Applications received after the last date, incomplete applications, or applications not routed through proper channel shall not be considered.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the mock lecture.
