Eligibility & Accounts
You must be capable of forming a binding contract under applicable law. If you are under the age threshold in your jurisdiction, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before using the Services.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Unless a team or business plan is specifically offered, individual subscriptions are for a single user and may not be shared, transferred, or sold to another person.
Plans, Billing & Taxes
We offer free and paid plans with monthly, annual, or promotional terms. Prices and features may change. The following billing rules apply:

License & Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms and your plan limitations, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes (or internal business use where your plan expressly allows).
- Copying, reproducing, or redistributing paid content outside your plan entitlements.
- Automated scraping, bulk downloading, crawling, or data extraction without written permission.
- Reverse engineering, circumventing paywalls or DRM, or attempting to access restricted areas.
- Using the Services to violate law, infringe intellectual property, or harm other users.
User Content & Conduct
Where features permit (comments, notes, uploads), you may post materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it solely for operating and improving the Services.
- Do not post unlawful, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, or harmful material.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Ensure you hold the rights to upload any content you submit.
We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.
Intellectual Property
All Services — including articles, GS analysis, test questions, editorial content, video, design, interfaces, software, and all related intellectual property — are owned by or licensed to The Aspirant News and are protected by applicable Indian and international laws.
Except for the limited license granted in Section 5, no rights, title, or interest are transferred to you by virtue of using the Services.
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, email info@theaspirantnews.com with: (a) a description of the work, (b) the URL where the infringement appears, (c) proof of ownership, and (d) your contact information. We respond to valid notices consistent with applicable law.
Third-Party Links & Tools
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, or payment gateways (such as Razorpay). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third-party services.
Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing third-party terms before providing any personal or financial information.
Compliance, Misuse & Enforcement
- We may investigate suspected violations of these Terms and cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required.
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations, non-payment, fraud, or conduct that poses a risk to the platform or other users.
- We may apply technical or legal measures to prevent misuse, including rate-limits, CAPTCHA, access restrictions, or IP blocks.

Informational Purposes: All content on the platform is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event, or INR 10,000 — whichever is lower.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Aspirant News and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your:
- Use of the Services in violation of these Terms.
- User Content you post, upload, or transmit on the platform.
- Violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Privacy & Data
We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to our data collection and processing practices as described therein, including international transfers where applicable under Indian data protection law.
Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice for: violation of these Terms, non-payment of dues, fraudulent activity, or conduct that creates risk for the platform or other users.
You may stop using the Services at any time. If you have a paid plan, refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy regarding access and refunds.
Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends. Sections that by their nature survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law — remain in full effect.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protection law, the courts with jurisdiction over the location of our principal place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to email us at info@theaspirantnews.com with "Dispute" in the subject line and a clear description of the issue. We will make a genuine effort to resolve it within 30 days.
Where stated in your plan or required by applicable law, disputes may be resolved by binding arbitration under applicable Indian rules. You and we both waive class actions to the extent permitted by law.
