Nationality Applicants must be Indian citizens. Udupi Cochin Shipyard Qualification Post Qualification Required Supervisor (Nesting) Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Marine/ Civil/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer/ Automobile Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Supervisor (Mechanical) Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Experience - Supervisor (Nesting): Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in Nesting, related to Plate Processing / CNC Cutting / Production Planning / CAD-CAM in a Shipbuilding, Offshore Fabrication company, Marine related Engineering company, or Government / Semi-Government Company / Establishment. Out of 10 years, at least 2 years of experience must be in a Supervisory grade. - Supervisor (Mechanical): Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in Piping / Machinery / Structural outfitting functions in a Shipbuilding, Ship Repair, Offshore Fabrication company, Marine related Engineering company, or Government / Semi-Government Company / Establishment. Out of 10 years, at least 2 years of experience must be in a Supervisory grade.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process comprises Phase I (Offline Written test consisting of an Objective Type Test for 40 Marks and a Descriptive Type Test for 40 Marks) and Phase II (Power Point presentation on work experience for 20 Marks).

The descriptive type written test carries 40 marks and is of 90 minutes duration, comprising discipline-related questions.
