Introduction

The UKSSSC Technician Grade II online application process will start on 12 October 2026. Eligible candidates can submit the online application up to 25 November 2026 through the official UKSSSC website. The application correction window will remain available from 28 November to 30 November 2026. The written competitive examination is tentatively scheduled for 14 March 2027. Vacancy & Eligibility

Eligibility varies slightly according to the Technician Grade II post and trade. Candidates must possess the required educational qualification, relevant vocational certificate and prescribed work experience. UKSSSC Technician Grade II Qualification Post | Essential Qualification Technician Grade II (Electrical) - PTCUL | High School or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics, All India/State Vocational Certificate in Electrician trade, and 2 years of relevant work experience obtained after acquiring the required qualification Technician Grade II (Electrical) - UJVNL | High School or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics, All India/State Vocational Certificate in Electrician or Electronics trade, and 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience Technician Grade II (Mechanical) - UJVNL | High School or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics, All India/State Vocational Certificate in Fitter trade, and 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience Work Experience Requirement The required two years of experience must be relevant to the concerned trade and should be obtained after acquiring the prescribed qualification. The notification permits experience certificates from Government, Semi-Government, Limited, Private Limited, registered private companies or registered firms, as applicable. Other Eligibility Conditions For direct recruitment to the advertised Group C posts, candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Uttarakhand Government. The notification states that applicable candidates should fulfil the required Uttarakhand employment registration, domicile/permanent residence or educational conditions prescribed for direct recruitment. Among the conditions mentioned in the notification are registration with an employment office located in Uttarakhand up to the last date of application, holding an Uttarakhand domicile/permanent residence certificate, or having passed the prescribed school-level examinations from recognized institutions situated in Uttarakhand, as applicable under the rules.
